Vehicle Technician

We are recruiting a Vehicle Technician on behalf of our client, a reputable main dealer located in Dudley. The Vehicle Technician role offers an excellent opportunity to join a well-established dealer group with the potential to earn up to £40,000 including bonus, subject to experience and qualifications.

Benefits include:

Basic salary up to £35,000, with the potential for higher for senior technicians
Bonus earnings, with an OTE of over £40,000
Working hours from 8:30am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday
Saturday mornings on a rota (1 in 4), paid as overtime
22 days holiday entitlement plus bank holidays

Job security within a busy, successful main dealershipDuties of the Vehicle Technician role include:

Performing servicing and repairs on a wide range of vehicles
Conducting diagnostic testing to identify faults
Completing all paperwork accurately and efficiently
Attending manufacturer training courses to enhance technical skills
Maintaining high standards of work and customer satisfaction
Contributing to the overall efficiency of the workshopRequirements for the Vehicle Technician role:

NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent, or relevant experience
Minimum of 2 years’ workshop experience
Full UK driving licence
Authorisation to work in the UK
Previous main dealer experience is beneficial but not essential
