Vehicle Technician

Red Recruitment 24:7 are currently seeking experienced Vehicle Technicians/ Fitters to work with our client based in Lincoln.
Typical duties:
Performing routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections
Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical issues in various types of vehicles
Conducting thorough inspections to identify potential problems and recommend corrective actions
Utilising diagnostic tools and equipment to accurately identify vehicle issues
Interpreting diagnostic results and determining the most effective repair solutions
Staying up-to-date with the latest diagnostic technologies and repair techniques
Replacing faulty or worn-out parts with new or reconditioned components
Ensuring all parts and materials used meet manufacturer specifications and quality standards
Properly installing and testing new parts to ensure correct operation
About you:
Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or similar role
Strong knowledge of automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems
Proficiency with diagnostic tools and equipment
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong communication and customer service skills
Valid drivers license
Hours and pay:
Monday-Friday
08:00-17:00
£45,000-£45,450
