We are currently on the lookout for an experienced Vehicle Technician. This position is within a reputable and well-established company with a large customer base.

Ideally you will have a varied skill set however the work can be allocated around individuals’ personal strengths. Full training can be provided where needed providing you are willing to learn and get involved in every aspect of the business.

Vehicle Technician/ MOT Tester Roles and Responsibilities:

• Carry out safety inspections
• Test and diagnose vehicle faults
• Accurately report any faults
• Plan work and order any parts needed to carry out the work in a timely manner
• Carry out all servicing, maintenance and repair work to manufacturers standards
• Ensure all health and safety procedures are followed at all times
• Carry out MOT testing of vehicles and complete all of the relevant paperwork accurately and in line with regulations
• Vehicle servicing
• Take responsibility for the overall quality of the work
• Work closely with other members of the team and provide support and training to more junior members

Vehicle Technician/ MOT Tester Skills and Experience:

• A full UK driving licence or equivalent
• A drive and enthusiasm to grab hold of opportunities
• At least 2 years of experience working within the industry
• Will hold a relevant and recognised qualification
• A positive attitude and the ability to self-motivate is a must
