Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:30pm
Salary: £53,000 - £58,000 per annum
Working Pattern: Hybrid Working (2 days remote)

The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Vendor Quality Manager to join a Global Quality team in a business-critical role. This position provides senior quality oversight, supplier assurance, and operational support, with a primary focus across the European supplier and customer base.

This is an excellent opportunity for a quality professional who enjoys working collaboratively across international supply chains, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring the highest standards of quality, compliance, and sustainability are maintained.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage the European supplier audit and quality programme.
Drive the resolution of quality and compliance issues from suppliers and customers using structured root cause and corrective action methodologies.
Ensure products and suppliers meet business, client, and regulatory requirements before approval and throughout ongoing supplier relationships.
Ensure suppliers remain aligned with all global Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) policies.
Support internal teams and clients by strengthening supplier performance and quality assurance processes.
Conduct onsite supplier audits across the UK and Europe.
Deliver ongoing training and guidance to internal stakeholders, ensuring a clear understanding of the importance of effective vendor management.About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring:

Proven experience in a senior quality or supplier quality position within a consumer products or supply chain-led business.
Strong experience in supplier audits, supplier assessments, and corrective action management.
Good knowledge of ethical and social auditing standards including SMETA, BSCI, WRAP, SA8000, and ISO certifications.
Understanding of ISO 9001 (Quality Management) and ISO 45001 (Health & Safety) standards.
Experience within consumer products, including product testing, inspections, and compliance requirements.
The ability to build strong supplier relationships and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
A structured, pragmatic approach to problem solving and process improvement.
Experience working cross-functionally with purchasing, compliance, warehouse, product, and customer-facing teams.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the confidence to engage and influence suppliers and stakeholders at all levels.Why Apply?
