The Opportunity
A growing business within the renewable energy and building services sector is seeking a Mechanical Ventilation Engineer to join its expanding team.
This role offers the opportunity to work across residential, social housing, commercial, and educational properties, carrying out the installation, servicing, maintenance, and repair of ventilation systems.
Key Responsibilities
Service, maintain and repair ventilation systems, including MVHR, MEV and PIV units Diagnose and rectify mechanical and electrical faults Complete planned maintenance, filter changes and deep cleans Install and replace ventilation units and associated components Conduct airflow testing and system commissioning Complete service reports and documentation Identify remedial works and provide recommendations Deliver excellent customer service on-site Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with industry standards
About You
Essential
Experience working with ventilation, HVAC, or building services equipment Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills Good mechanical and basic electrical knowledge Excellent communication and customer service skills Full UK Driving Licence Desirable
Experience with MVHR, MEV and PIV systems Airflow testing and commissioning experience NVQ or equivalent qualification in Ventilation, HVAC, Plumbing, or Building Services BPEC Domestic Ventilation qualification Experience within social housing environments
