We are seeking an enthusiastic, team-orientated Veterinary Care Assistant to join our team at Lamond Vets on a full-time permanent role.


We are conveniently located just a 5-minute walk from Livingston South Rail Station, with ample parking available on-site. With an outstanding reputation built over 66 years, we were proud to be voted 'Best Scottish Vet' in 2018, 2019, and 2020 by our clients. We are also a 6 minute drive to Livingston Designer Outlet.


How You’ll Make a Difference


 

As a Veterinary Care Assistant, you will play an important role in supporting the clinical team to deliver high standards of patient and client care, while helping to ensure the practice environment runs smoothly and safely.


 


Working under the direction of a Veterinary Surgeon or Registered Veterinary Nurse, you'll support inpatient care, assist with patient handling and restraint, help maintain clinical areas and equipment, and contribute to a positive and compassionate experience for both patients and clients.


 


Working Pattern


*40 hours per week Monday-Friday 8:00am-6:30pm. There will also be occasional Saturdays from 8:00am-4:30pm

 

Key Responsibilities


Duties will be varied and include assisting with inpatient care, maintaining cleanliness throughout the hospital, supporting procedures, and ensuring the comfort and welfare of our patients.
