The Vice President of Talent Acquisition will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy that attracts, recruits, and retains top talent for a global powerhouse in the construction industry, whilst being hands on with hiring and building a new team.
This senior leadership role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of the recruitment landscape, employer branding, and talent market trends. We are looking for a talented individual with a successful Recruitment background, Agency experience preferred but open to 'in-house' recruiters too. You'll work closely with senior managers and department heads, been hands on and hiring for senior level positions.
Responsibilities:
Strategy Development:
Continue to develop a talent acquisition strategy aligned with the company's business goals and growth objectives.
Team Building:
Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing talent acquisition team to ensure effective and efficient recruitment processes.
Hands-On Recruiting:
Actively participate in recruiting efforts, including sourcing, interviewing, and engaging top talent and negotiating offers etc...
Recruitment Process Optimization:
Streamline and enhance recruitment processes to improve efficiency, candidate experience, and hiring quality.
Employer Branding:
Promote and strengthen the company's employer brand to attract top talent across various channels.
Partnership and Collaboration:
Collaborate with senior leadership, HR, and department heads to understand hiring needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
Experience & Skills:
Minimum of 10 years of experience in talent acquisition, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
Proven track record of developing and executing successful talent acquisition strategies.
Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
In-depth knowledge of recruitment tools, applicant tracking systems (ATS), and HR technologies.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
Commitment to diversity and inclusion.
Hands-on experience in recruiting and engaging with candidates directly.
