Vice President of Software Engineering

A Software As A Service business in Edinburgh is looking to hire a VP of Engineering to support their transition from start up to scale up. They are on a very interesting journey, most recently expanding their operations and customer presence in North America.

The VP of Engineering will come in to oversee a team of 20 professionals which includes Software Engineers | Cloud Engineers | Testers of varying levels. You will form a key part of the management team, with direct influence over the way in which they engineering team operates, scales and delivers.

Other responsibilities will include:

• Supporting & working with the CTO to deliver the company’s technical vision.
• Work in collaboration with the Product team.
• Drive continuous improvement, always looking to improve ways of working better.
• Design a team structure that encourages maximum performance.
• Inspire and engage the team on all things technology and culture.
• Build key relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
