As we expand our content creation, we are looking for a dedicated Video Content Planner & Coordinator to support our YouTube video production process. At DriverReviews, we collaborate with leading automotive TV presenters and top-tier film crews to produce engaging and informative content. Role Profile:
The Video Content Planner & Coordinator plays a pivotal role in overseeing the entire lifecycle of producing engaging and informative automotive content. This multifaceted position involves collaborating with car and tyre manufacturers, working with brand ambassadors, orchestrating logistical details for filming, providing essential support to the production team, and helping to facilitate the launch and ongoing analysis and optimisation of our video content.

Key Skills and Responsibilities:

Stakeholder Relationship Management
Support the Director of Operations to develop and nurture relationships with car and tyre manufacturers
Work closely with brand ambassadors to support delivery of automotive content
Acquire knowledge of essential current and future filming locations and establish strong connections with key stakeholders

Pre-Production Planning:
Plan and coordinate production schedules, ensuring all deadlines are met.
Liaise with various stakeholders, including clients, crew members, and vendors to ensure seamless execution of projects.
Coordinate presenter schedules and filming logistics.
Secure filming locations, acquire insurance, licenses, and permits.
Schedule and manage the logistical requirements for all members of the filming crew, ensuring smooth operations during production
Support with travel requirements

Production Support:
Source and provide detailed information on car specifications and tyre details to enrich the content with accurate data.
Work with Director of Operations and brand ambassadors to refine and finalise video scripts, ensuring alignment with sourced specifications and creative vision.
Offer on-site support during filming days to ensure seamless execution of all logistical aspects for the team.

Post-Production Coordination:
Ensure timely delivery of all film rushes to the editing team, liaising with film crew and brand ambassadors, maintaining quality standards and adherence to deadlines.
Source and provide any supplementary information required by the editor to enhance the editing process and ensure accuracy.
Oversee the approval process for video edits, ensuring alignment with project objectives and stakeholder expectations.

YouTube Channel Management:
Lead the setup of YouTube video posts, collaborating with design teams to create thumbnail and channel visuals, crafting compelling titles and descriptions, and preparing subtitles to improve accessibility.
Work closely with Director of Operations to provide timely channel analytics, key trends, and identify what is working well and areas for improvement to enhance future videos.
Identify and present ways to optimise video advertising, maximising reach and audience engagement to improve channel performance.

Key Personnel Criteria
Proven experience in video production coordination is desirable.
Strong coordination and planning skills.
Experienced in project management and able to provide examples of projects delivered.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Experience in a filming environment is desirable.
Background in conference or event planning with transferable skills will be considered.
Familiarity with YouTube channel management and video optimisation techniques.
Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Passion and knowledge of the automotive industry and cars.

Salary: Competitive dependant on experience
Hours: Normal hours of work are 9am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday with a one-hour lunch break
Location: Edinburgh – 4 days in office, 1 day working from home
