The primary responsibility of this new video creative role is to produce high-quality, fresh and innovative video content that supports Quark’s
brand, products, and go-to-market initiatives
across our variety of audiences.
Reporting to the Manager, Creative Design, the Specialist, Video Creation will create and deliver video content that supports Quark’s brand narrative, product education, and marketing objectives across digital and social channels. This includes producing short-form and long-form videos for social platforms, website use, partner enablement, and product tutorials, with a consistent focus on targeted messaging, credibility, and relevance to our Quark Publishing Platform and QuarkXPress family of products.
Working closely with brand, product marketing, partner marketing, and web teams, the Specialist ensures video assets align with Quark’s visual identity, messaging standards, and product positioning to engage our target audiences, whilst producing product-led educational and thought-leading content to help reduce friction and support dependency.
The role requires strong hands-on capability in modern video production tools, alongside a growing emphasis on
AI-enabled video creation platforms such as Synthesia
to deliver scalable, repeatable content at pace.
This role balances creative execution with operational efficiency, applying best practices in editing, motion, sound, and visual storytelling while embracing AI-powered workflows to increase speed, consistency, and impact.

Responsibilities
- Create video content across Quark’s brand and product portfolio, including social media videos, product walkthroughs and tutorials, short explainer and feature highlight videos, and partner and enablement content
- Edit and produce video assets using tools such as
Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects
(or equivalent)
- Use
AI-powered video platforms
such as Synthesia to produce scalable, on-brand video content fast and efficiently to increase our output
- Apply motion, sound, captions, and visual treatments appropriate for all enterprise and design audiences, with segmented personalisation
- Work from briefs provided by the Manager, Creative Design and the wider marketing and product teams, and contribute creative input where appropriate
- Ensure all video content aligns with Quark’s brand guidelines and visual identity
- Manage versioning, formats, and delivery for different channels and use cases
- Support experimentation with new video formats, tools, and AI-enabled workflows
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in video production or related creative subject
- Experience in creating professional video content
- Strong hands-on skills with
Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects
or similar video software
- Experience using or willingness to rapidly adopt
AI-powered video tools
alongside traditional tools
- Good understanding of video formats and best practices for social and digital channels
- Ability to translate complex or technical topics into clear visual explanations
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple pieces of work concurrently
- Self-motivated, timely and deadline focused
Desirable
- Experience producing B2B, SaaS, or enterprise software video content
- Familiarity with brand and design systems
- Basic 2D/3D, motion graphics or animation experience
- Understanding of accessibility considerations (captions, clarity, readability)
- Interest in emerging AI tools for creative production
