Working Hours: Full time 37.5 hours per week - Mon to Fri As a Capacity and Configuration Manager, you will provide central management for all capacity, performance and configuration of the IT infrastructure which relates to both services and resources. This is done by managing, reporting and forecasting on service assets to provide a logical model of the IT infrastructure in a cost effective, timely and clear manner to stakeholders. We're looking for someone to take the lead on Capacity and Configuration Management, ensuring everything is aligned with ITIL best practices. In this role, you'll be responsible for creating and maintaining a forward-looking Capacity Plan that reflects both current and future customer needs. You'll also manage service assets—tracking versions, baselines, and how everything fits together across the wider estate. Your mission? To make sure our services consistently meet or exceed performance targets by managing both capacity and configuration with precision. You'll be the go-to expert, offering advice and guidance to internal stakeholders on all things capacity and configuration. Knowledge of capacity and configuration management within large Technology/Communications industry. Knowledge of Capacity Planning within Transmission and IP network and related hardware/software. Experience liaising with customers and stakeholders alike and confidently explaining complicated elements for clarity Strong experience working in Excel - (Data functions, LOOKUP, Pivot Tables) SQL database management experience- Desirable Knowledge of the ITIL framework SC Clearance or eligible to apply is a must.
