Working hours: Full time 37.5 hours per week - Monday to Friday As the Technical Design Authority, you\u0027ll work hand\u2011in\u2011hand with the customer, our vendors, delivery teams, testing, and service operations to shape, build, and assure a secure, scalable platform. You\u0027ll oversee the full lifecycle, from design through to validation, ensuring the solution is robust, fully supportable, and ready for seamless transition into live service. Act as the Technical Design Authority for one or more customer projects, owning design decisions and approvals across the full lifecycle. Create High Level Designs (HLDs) and Low Level Designs (LLDs) working with pre-sales and engineering colleagues. Ensure designs comply with security, resilience, operational, and architectural standards. Act as the senior technical interface to the customer, providing confidence in solution design and delivery approach. Support delivery teams through build, test, and implementation phases, resolving design related issues and deviations. Proven experience in a Technical Design Authority, Technical Design, or Senior Systems Engineer role within complex IT or managed service environments. Current DV clearance or eligibility and willingness to undergo DV vetting Strong background in enterprise IT infrastructure and platforms, including: Windows, Linux (Redhat OpenShift), VMWare (Broadcom VCF) and messaging systems (Exchange). Experience designing and assuring customer facing solutions in highly-secure environments. Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to challenge constructively and influence at senior levels Have a proven track record in IT, with Experience delivering customer facing solutions requiring formal acceptance and sign off. Be proactive, self-motivated, and be able to keep up with the rapid pace of ICT Demonstrate Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate clearly with technical and non technical audiences.
