Applicants are sought from the community to support the Wigan Neighbourhood Policing Teams with their community engagement activities.

This includes:

Support with community engagement activities - e.g. developing materials for local events, providing reassurance calls, encouraging community participation in policing issues.
Providing information on local policing activities or crime
Attendance at community events
Supporting with general admin/office functions.
Good knowledge of local area and a desire to improve engagement between the police and the local community
