Volunteer Patient Driver - Liverpool Hospice

We’re looking for caring and reliable Volunteer Drivers to support our Liverpool Hospice team. 

Many people living with a terminal illness can feel isolated or face barriers that make it hard to attend appointments that support their wellbeing. Volunteer Drivers ensure people can access essential care and stay connected to services that matter.

Availability: Monday - Friday 

Time: Pick up between 9:30am and 12:30pm  |  Return between 12pm and 3pm

Location: Primarily Marie Curie Hospice, Liverpool

Criteria: Minimum age 18 years. Access to own vehicle

What you’ll do:

• Pick up patients from their home and bring them to the Marie Curie Hospice, Liverpool


• Return them home after appointments or day services


• Ensure safe entry into their home


• Flag any concerns to hospice staff

What you’ll need:

• Friendly communication skills


• Reliability and a sense of responsibility
