Our client is a highly successful global software organisation and we are recruiting a Head of IT Delivery to lead an international team at a time of positive transformation for the business.

The role will oversee the delivery of IT services, solutions, and software applications across the business, leading IT project and application development teams, driving a culture of continuous improvement and aligning IT delivery strategies with the organization’s strategic goals.

Lead the IT project and application delivery teams, implementing IT project management frameworks, governance processes, and application delivery strategies.Manage the IT application portfolio, collaborating with business stakeholders to define project scopes and prioritising projects based on business impact and resource availability.Oversee the allocation of resources, including personnel, technology, and budget, to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.Ensure best practices in software development, including agile methodologies and DevOps practices. Lead the IT Business Intelligence team to define and lead data governance processes.

Requirements:Proven experience in leadership positions in IT Delivery, ideally with an international focus.Extensive experience in IT project management, application development, and delivery, ideally in a leadership capacity.Strong understanding of software development life cycles, agile methodologies, DevOps practices, and IT infrastructure.Excellent leadership skills, ideally with experience in managing large international teams.Strong communication skills, able to play a crucial role in a senor leadership team.Certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, ITIL, or Agile/Scrum Master are desirable.
