Job Description - VP, Java E-Trading - Low Latency

What We're Looking For:

Significant commercial experience building and supporting complex software systems (typically 10+ years)
Strong expertise in core Java
Deep understanding of concurrent programming and parallel execution
Background in developing high‑performance pricing or trading platforms on Linux
Proven experience with performance analysis, profiling, and optimisation

Nice to Have:

Exposure to electronic FX or similar low‑latency environments, including memory‑efficient / GC‑conscious systems
Familiarity with financial market protocols (e.g. FIX‑style or binary encodings)
Experience designing resilient, highly available distributed systems
Knowledge of low‑latency messaging frameworks
