The VP – UK Naval is accountable for the performance of UK&I Naval Services programs and MT30 OE production. This includes ensuring the integrity and safety of our products and people, achievement of annual financial performance results, delivery of customer commitments covering both product and services, and effective building and development of the Programme team.

This role will lead the teams accountable for planning of all MT30 Original Equipment (OE) and Services requirements for the UK Naval programmes and interfacing with the requisite Procurement, Manufacturing and Operations leadership where required to ensure delivery requirements are met. The role will also require leading the interface with external stakeholders, including customers, as required. The VP UK Naval will ensure executive governance and reporting and management of risks and opportunities to the programme deliverables.

What you will be doing:

  •  Ensure that we Put Safety First within the Naval team and business
  • Definition and delivery of the annual and five-year financial plan, including identification and delivery of improvement
  • Cost, quality, and delivery of UK Naval programme production (MT30) and services
  • Customer relationship, satisfaction and issue resolution
  • Support the definition and delivery of the product roadmap and strategy that is created with business development, engineering, and Defence strategy teams
  • Support the Defence future programs team on the strategic direction of portfolio product configuration and new campaigns

   

Position qualifications:

  • Strong programme management skills to plan and manage complex engine programmes
  • Strong business acumen and financial/commercial experience
  • Ability to influence and manage senior relationships through effective stakeholder management 
  • Ability to cope with ambiguity and generate innovative, solutions to challenges and problems.
  • Strong ability to work within and across multiple teams to get tasks done, demonstration of self-drive, motivation and working independently.
  • Educated to degree level with a qualification in a relevant business discipline (or equivalent experience
  • Strong and visible demonstration of Leadership Team Expectations
  • Leading change with a growth mindset, high energy, and commitment
