Hedge Fund - Vue.js3 Front End Software Engineer

A leading Credit Hedge Fund is looking to hire a Vue.js3 Front End Software Engineer to join the Technology Systems Development team in London.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly profitable Credit hedge fund, that is building a highly automated, and data driven IT infrastructure to service the front end alpha capture, business development and key functional groups including Risk, Operations, IR, and Finance. You will have a clear mandate to innovate the best in class data driven analytics IT solutions and supporting alpha capture opportunities across the fund, that has seen marketing leading results, growing, and investing in technology.

It's a great period to join the business and support key deliverables and undertake responsibilities pertaining to developing front end software engineering capabilities.

The fund is looking for expertise across the following technology stack.

Hedge Fund - Front End Software Engineer – Prerequisite Requirements –

3 to 5 years of experience and expertise in –

o JavaScript - expertise in using Vue.js3 is a must, Tailwind, and TypeScript, would be beneficial.
o Experience in Java script framework (Angular and React).
o Application design experience, and the prior experience in data driven development;
o Ability to design interfaces for data analytics tools, with a background in IT hedge fund data ops and filtering and validation of data that is consumed across front end business groups, (Credit Trading, Risk Analytics, Operations, Finance).
o Experience with Restful APIs – HTTP web applications architecture.
o Proficiency in Git, CI/CD pipelines, and agile methodologies.
o Information Technology / computer Science Degree and 3 to 5 years’ experience gained within Credit Hedge Fund, Credit Investment Banking Technology Services, or Credit Financial Services vendors.
o Understanding of Public and Private Credit Markets, CLO IT platform architecture would be highly advantageous and beneficial.
o Working on projects to design and adopt the latest technologies and maintenance CSD pipelines and industry standard tools. SDLC and project delivery.
o Working to develop data driven tools and website and investor portal and working with outsourced designers.
