Wanted: KS5 Science Teacher in Richmond

Our OFSTED Outstanding secondary school in Richmond seeks a dedicated and enthusiastic Science teacher to join our dynamic faculty. This is a full-time, permanent position offering the opportunity to inspire and nurture young minds across the scientific disciplines.

About the Role:

• Design and deliver engaging and informative Science lessons across all year groups, covering a range of scientific subjects (Biology, Chemistry, Physics).


• Cultivate a stimulating and supportive learning environment that fosters a love of exploration, critical thinking, and scientific inquiry.


• Guide students in developing a comprehensive understanding of core scientific principles, practical laboratory skills, and problem-solving abilities.


• Prepare students for success in external examinations (GCSE, A-Level, as applicable).


• Collaborate with colleagues in the Science department and contribute to school-wide events.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Possesses a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Science or a closely related subject.


• Demonstrates a strong passion for Science and a captivating teaching style.


• Excels in communication, interpersonal skills, and classroom management within a diverse learning environment.


• Fosters a positive and inclusive learning environment that challenges and motivates students.
