About the Role
We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established powder coating company in Letchworth for a Warehouse Administrator and Health & Safety Coordinator.
This is a varied role within a small, friendly business where you will be responsible for keeping the office running smoothly while ensuring the company's health and safety systems remain organised, up to date, and compliant. The working hours are flexible, making this a great opportunity for someone looking for a part-time position with long-term potential.
Candidates with experience as an Office Administrator, Health and Safety Administrator, Office Coordinator, Warehouse Administrator, Compliance Administrator, Administration Assistant, Health and Safety Coordinator, Facilities Administrator, Operations Administrator or Business Support Administrator are encouraged to apply.
What You'll Do
Answer incoming telephone calls and relay messages to the shop floor
Manage the day-to-day administration for the business
Maintain accurate paperwork and filing systems
Keep health and safety documentation organised and up to date
Review and update risk assessments and related records
Implement and maintain safe systems of work using guidance provided by the company's external health and safety provider
Ensure staff are following company health and safety procedures
Support the business with general office administration and compliance tasks
Work closely with management to keep office processes running efficiently
What We're Looking For
Previous experience in office administration within a busy environment
Good understanding of health and safety administration and compliance
Knowledge of risk assessments and safe systems of work
Confident using Microsoft Office and maintaining accurate records
Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
Comfortable working independently and managing multiple tasks
Professional communication skills with the confidence to speak to staff and customers
A proactive approach with the ability to improve and maintain existing systems
Who Might Suit This Role
This role would suit someone who has worked as an Office Administrator, Health and Safety Administrator, Compliance Administrator, Warehouse Administrator, Office Manager, Administration Coordinator, Facilities Administrator or Business Support Administrator.
It would also suit candidates from manufacturing, engineering, powder coating, fabrication, production, warehousing, logistics or industrial environments who have experience managing administration alongside health and safety responsibilities.
