Location: Wolverhampton
Salary: £27,000pa + £3,000 OTE
Working Hours: Monday to Friday with occasional Saturdays 8am till 5pm

Overview:

First Military Recruitment is proudly working in partnership with a fantastic business who are looking to recruit a Warehouse and Distribution Associate on a permanent basis due to growth located at their Wolverhampton depot.

As a Warehouse and Distribution Associate, you will play a crucial role in coordinating and overseeing various aspects of the distribution and sales process. This includes ensuring the efficient operation of the warehouse logistics, maintaining a safe working environment, and liaising with new and existing customers with telephone and email enquiries. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and manage daily warehouse operations, including goods in/out, storage, and dispatch.
• Oversee and ensure smooth and timely distribution processes.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory, stock movement, and deliveries.
• Respond to customer enquiries via telephone and email, building and maintaining strong relationships with new and existing clients.
• Support the sales and distribution team with administrative and operational tasks.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the warehouse environment.
• Proactively identify and resolve operational issues to enhance overall efficiency.
• Contribute to a clean, organised, and safe working environment.

Skills & Experience:

• Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Proactive problem-solver with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Confident communicator with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution, or logistics environment is desirable but not essential.
• Comfortable using standard IT systems, including email and inventory software.
