Warehouse Assistant

• Hours: 08:00 - 17:00 (Monday-Friday)

Join our fantastic clients dynamic team as a Warehouse Operative, where you will play a vital role in ensuring their customers receive products promptly and accurately. This position involves working closely with the Warehouse Manager and the team to handle incoming deliveries, manage stock, and maintain a safe and tidy warehouse environment.

• Receive and check supplier deliveries against purchase orders.
• Pick and pack customer orders carefully to prevent damage and ensure dispatch meets customer requirements.
• Conduct regular cycle stock counts to maintain accurate inventory levels.
• Assist customers at the trade counter, handling transactions and queries.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the warehouse and storage yard.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe working environment.

Mandatory:

• Proven experience as a Warehouse Operative.
• Current forklift licence.
• Driving licence.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks.
