Fancy being at the heart of a busy, fast-paced warehouse operation? Our client — a well-established supplier of specialist aftermarket parts to the packaging machinery industry — is looking for a hands-on, reliable Warehouse Assistant to join their growing Norfolk team.

As Warehouse Assistant, you'll be right in the thick of the action: checking in goods, keeping stock accurate, and getting orders out the door on time. This Warehouse Assistant role offers real variety, with day-to-day involvement across goods-in, stock control, despatch, and even a bit of exposure to the technical and buying sides of the business.

As Warehouse Assistant, you will have the opportunity to:

Check in receipt of goods and supplies, verifying correct product description, quantity, and quality
Store goods accurately, keeping location, identification, and count spot on
Create pick tickets and despatch notes
Prepare stock for despatch by external logistics suppliers
Complete perpetual stock counts
Assist the technical team with basic engineering duties
Assist the buying team with basic purchasing functions
Get involved in any other tasks set by the Supply Chain Manager, Warehouse Manager, or the Company
