Warehouse / Bulk Operative

P+S Personnel are pleased to be working on behalf of our clients, who are currently seeking a Warehouse Operative to join their team on a permanent basis based in Great Yarmouth.

Please note before applying, you must hold a forklift license.

Main Responsibilities:

• Assist with co-ordination of bulk stock requirements and shipping.
• Assist with operations relating to the receiving and delivery of bulk/palletised materials.
• Liaising with customers and suppliers.
• Co-ordination of transport and movement of deliveries.
• Carrying out minor plant maintenance, as required.
• Assist with stock control.
• Warehouse duties including stock checks and general housekeeping.
• Forklift operations.
• Loading / unloading ships / containers.
• Sorting out necessary paperwork ie - Purchase Orders and delivery notes.
• Identifying conforming material and consign it to quarantine area, submitting relevant reports and subsequently disposing of the material.
• Raising and control of all related paperwork.

Person Specification:

• MUST hold a forklift license
• Multitasker.
• Able to use own initiative.
• Able to work within a team and hold great communication skills.

Working Hours & Benefits:

• Monday - Friday 08:00 - 17:00
• 25 days annual leave + Bank Holidays.
