warehouse gift wrapping operatives

We are seeking energetic and detail-oriented Gift Wrapping Operatives to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating beautifully wrapped gifts such as jewells or handbags that delight our customers and enhance their shopping experience. Your enthusiasm and precision will ensure each package is presented with care, reflecting our commitment to quality and customer satisfaction. This position offers an engaging environment where your skills in handling materials, managing stock, and maintaining high standards of presentation will shine.

Shifts available:

Rotational : Monday till Friday 6am-2.30pm and 2pm-10.30pm with 12.73£

Responsibilities

* Carefully select and handle wrapping materials, including paper, ribbons, bows, and decorative accessories to achieve attractive presentation.

* Efficiently load, unload, and organize gift wrapping supplies within the workspace using proper materials handling techniques.

* Use mechanical knowledge to operate any necessary tools or equipment safely during the wrapping process.

* Manage stock levels by stocking supplies regularly and accurately recording inventory using the warehouse management system.

* Ensure all gifts are wrapped to high-quality standards, paying close attention to detail and finishing touches.

* Assist with shipping and receiving tasks related to gift supplies, ensuring timely restocking and proper storage.

* Maintain a clean, organized workspace conducive to efficient workflow and safety compliance.

Qualifications

* Previous experience in warehouse management or materials handling is preferred but not essential.

* Ability to lift heavy items safely and perform physical tasks involving load & unload activities.

* Mechanical aptitude or familiarity with tools used in wrapping or packaging processes is a plus.

* Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality control in finishing gift presentations.

* Basic knowledge of warehouse systems for inventory management and stock tracking.

* Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

* Prior experience with shipping & receiving operations is advantageous but not mandatory.
