Job Description - Warehouse Manager

An exciting opportunity for a dedicated Warehouse Manager who can efficiently handle logistics in a fast-paced automotive aftermarket environment. The successful candidate will oversee daily operations, ensure timely dispatch of global deliveries, and manage the overall organisation of the warehouse.

Description

  • Manage and oversee the daily operations of the warehouse in South oxfordshire
  • Implement operational policies and procedures
  • Ensure safety and efficiency of the warehouse
  • Manage stock control and reconcile with data storage system
  • Coordinate global logistics with the 3rd party logistics provider.
  • Plan work rotas, assign tasks, and manage staff performance
  • Prepare annual budget
  • Liaise with customers and suppliers.

*While this is a management role - there will be a requirement on occasion to use an FLT especially during peak periods.

Profile

A successful Warehouse Manager should have:

  • A degree in business management, logistics or a related field (Advantageous although not essential)
  • experience with lean and Continuous improvement
  • experience of bonded warehousing is advantageous
  • Proficiency in WMS software
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to manage staff (7-20 people)
  • Excel data analysis, interpretation and presentation
  • Experience of working as part of a broader supply chain team (Procurement, Demand/supply planning, Import/export/customs)
  • Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations
  • Strong problem-solving skills

Job Offer

  • An estimated salary range of £53000 - £60,000
  • Annual leave of 25 days
  • 37.5 hours per week (flexible)
