Description

• Oversee the efficient receipt, storage and dispatch of a range of goods
• Maintain health and safety standards within the warehouse
• Manage a team of warehouse staff, ensuring efficient processes
• Implement operational policies to increase efficiency
• Regularly review workloads and manpower to ensure targets are met
• Develop and maintain detailed procedures for logistics processes
• Manage stock control systems and ensure they are updated accurately
• Liaise with customers, suppliers and transport companies

Profile

A successful Warehouse Manager should have:

• Exposure within Manufacturing Logistics
• Proven experience in managing warehouse operations
• Proficiency in warehouse management software and databases
• Leadership skills and the ability to manage a team
• Strong decision-making skills and a problem-solving attitude
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
• Good communication skills to liaise with colleagues and external parties
• Commutable daily to Westbury Wiltshire
