Warehouse Manager – Sheffield – Competitive Salary

Our client are seeking an experienced and dynamic Warehouse Manager who can help spearhead projects and implement efficiencies and drive continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in warehouse management and project delivery, with a strong focus on process improvement, ERP systems and barcoding solutions.

Warehouse Manager Duties:

• Manage daily warehouse operations with a focus on efficiency, safety and regulatory compliance
• Lead, support, and develop warehouse teams to ensure high performance and strong team morale
• Optimise warehouse layout, storage systems and inventory control procedures for improved operational flow
• Plan and deliver warehouse improvement projects, including process redesign, system enhancements and space optimisation
• Drive automation and process innovation to minimise waste and maximise throughput
• Utilise ERP systems for accurate inventory management, order fulfilment and performance reporting
• Lead the implementation and integration of warehouse technologies, such as barcoding and scanning systems
• Define, monitor, and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) to support continuous improvement initiatives

Hours: Full time Monday – Friday

Required skills & experience:

• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in Supply Chain, Logistics or Operations Management
• Proven experience in warehouse operations management
• Demonstrated success in delivering significant warehouse projects and change management
• Strong knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) in a warehouse setting
• Experience implementing and managing barcoding systems and inventory scanning tools
• Ability to lead, influence, and manage cross-functional teams
