Title: Warehouse Manager

Location: Hertfordshire

Salary: £30,000 (negotiable)
Hours: 06:00 - 14:30 Monday to Friday

Our client is looking for an experienced, hands-on Warehouse Manager ready to take the lead in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

They require a motivated individual with valid Forklift, Counterbalance, and Reach Truck licenses to manage warehouse operations efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and lead a small team of warehouse operatives
• Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations, including goods in/out, storage, and dispatch
• Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure stock control procedures are followed
• Operate forklifts, counterbalance, and reach trucks to move and manage stock
• Ensure all health & safety and company procedures are adhered to at all times
• Liaise with suppliers, drivers, and internal departments to ensure smooth logistics

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a warehouse supervisory or managerial role
• Valid Forklift, Counterbalance, and Reach Truck licenses (in-date)
• Strong organisational and leadership skills
• Comfortable with physical work and operating warehouse machinery
• Competency using warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office
• Reliable, proactive, and able to work independently
