Warehouse Manager – Wirral – Up to £42,000 + Benefits

Are you an experienced Warehouse Manager looking for your next challenge? A rapidly expanding manufacturing organisation in Wallasey is seeking a passionate and driven individual to lead their warehouse operations.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking company with a strong culture of fairness, transparency, and continuous improvement. You’ll be managing a small team and reporting directly to senior leadership, playing a key role in shaping the future of the warehouse function.

Working Hours:

Monday to Thursday: 8:00am – 5:00pm & Friday: 8:00am – 12:30pm

(38.5 hours per week)

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop a highly efficient warehouse operation (Goods In/Out, 3rd party movements)
• Train, coach, and motivate a small team
• Implement digital processes for goods movement, integrated with SAGE
• Support potential relocation to larger warehouse facilities
• Develop SOPs and drive innovation for operational efficiency
• Collaborate with Stock Control and Continuous Improvement teams
• Manage inventory using FIFO and stock rotation principles
• Oversee monthly and annual stock counts
• Ensure smooth yard operations and resource planning
• Monitor team performance against KPIs and conduct bi-annual reviews
• Work closely with Health & Safety to maintain a safe working environment
• Ensure timely stock availability for production lines

Skills & Experience Required:

• Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager in a fast-paced environment
• Strong background in digitalising warehouse systems
• Experience in warehouse relocation and redesign
• Skilled in team management and development
• Valid FLT licence (FLT Instructor desirable)
• Proficient in SAGE for stock management
• Ability to challenge existing processes and drive improvements
