Job Title: Warehouse Team Manager Location: Sheffield S9 (Darnell) Salary: £26,000-£29,000 Hours: Monday-Friday 11am to 7:30pm
Are you an experienced Warehouse Team Manager looking for your next challenge? Our client, a leading company in the heart of Sheffield (Darnell) is looking for an experienced Warehouse Team Manager. You will be responsible for running a highly efficient and agile warehouse department by supporting and leading a warehouse team to ensure the requirements of the customer are delivered.
Main Duties: • Organise the off-loading, receipting and storage of goods in line with the warehouse standard operational procedures and ensure all relevant documentation is kept. • To understand and be responsible for the safe unloading / loading of vehicles etc. Including the entry and control the Movement and parking of trailers. • Maintain all operational equipment to a high standard reporting any defects immediately. • All trucks with batteries to have their water levels checked, maintained and are kept in a clean and tidy condition. • Organise the replenishment of stocks to maintain levels held at the pick face and accurately update the stock system • In conjunction with Head of Warehousing and HR recruit, interview, select, hire, and onboard new employees. • Lead employees using a performance management and development process that provides an overall context and framework to encourage employee contribution and includes objective setting, feedback, and performance development planning. • Manage the training and development of your team ensuring the skills matrix, online learning and additional training needs are maintained. Ensuring all staff are trained on the relevant tasks and equipment.
Skills/Experience Must have previous Warehouse Team Manager experience Must have experience with Microsoft, Excel, Explorer, and office Must have good understanding of warehouse metrics including O.T.I.F requirements Must have Forklift experience with a valid licence
