You will be an experienced Warehouse Manager looking to play a key part in the growth of a local business.

The role:

• Ensure the smooth running of the warehouse, using established procedures to ensure that the warehouse team accurately pick and pack orders
• Manage team effectively, conduct monthly catch-up reviews, prepare for and carry out effective yearly performance reviews with your team members
• Be responsible for the Health and Safety of the Warehouse team and ensure all equipment is maintained and used safely
• Coordinate the booking of inbound deliveries and ensure sufficient resources are available to offload
• Ensure stock levels are accurate, and checks are made regularly
• Ensure all customers, drivers, and visitors are dealt with promptly, professionally, and courteously

The person:

• Experienced in warehouse management or transport management
• Be able to coach and mentor, leading by example
