Warehouse Manager - Dedicated Returns Centre

We are recruiting for a Warehouse Manager to join a great company implementing its new UK operation in Milton Keynes!

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am–5pm

This is a brilliant opportunity to play a key role in the setup of the new site, as well as being instrumental in the ongoing growth of the Milton Keynes operation.

About the job

You will be responsible for running a dedicated UK Returns Centre and will be the most senior member of the team in the UK.

Your responsibilities will include:

Site management – Keyholding, health and safety, fire safety, first aid and accident reporting.

*

Running the floor – Overseeing and getting involved in receiving, sorting and scanning inbound returns, putting stock away, inspecting and grading items, and preparing outbound shipments.

*

Leading the team – Training operators, managing working hours and attendance, liaising with contractors, motivating the team and monitoring KPIs.

*

Reporting and continuous improvement – Producing and managing daily figures, analysing performance and identifying opportunities to improve processes and overall site performance.

About you

*

At least 3 years' experience running a warehouse operation.

*

Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).

*

Good computer skills, including experience with AI tools and spreadsheets.

*

The ability to run an operation and make decisions independently, without the support of a full leadership team on site.

Ideally, you will also have:

*

Experience in returns, reverse logistics or e-commerce fulfilment.

*

Experience grading apparel, footwear or other consumer goods.

*

First Aid and/or Fire Marshal certificates.

*

Your own transport.
