Work Lyf Group are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Warehouse Night Operative to join a busy and fast-paced logistics operation based in Welshpool.
This is an excellent opportunity for a hardworking and reliable individual looking to build a career within the transport and logistics sector. Working as part of the night warehouse team, you will play a key role in ensuring freight is unloaded, scanned, sorted, and prepared for onward delivery.
The Role
As a Warehouse Night Operative, you will support the efficient running of the warehouse operation during overnight hours, helping to ensure all freight is processed accurately and vehicles are loaded ready for daily deliveries.
Key Responsibilities
* Assisting with the unloading of trailers.
* Scanning and sorting freight into the correct bays.
* Supporting van drivers with loading their vehicles for daily routes.
* Ensuring freight is handled safely and accurately.
* Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
* Following all health and safety procedures.
* Working effectively as part of a team to meet operational deadlines.
Working Hours
* Monday to Friday Nights
* 12:00am (Midnight) – 9:00am
* 42.5 hours per week
Requirements
* Previous warehouse or logistics experience is desirable but not essential.
* Ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
* Good communication and teamwork skills.
* Reliable with excellent attendance and timekeeping.
* Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
