Warehouse Operations Manager

InstaStaff are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operations Manager to join an events company based in Northampton.

They are a leader in their industry and provide high-quality operations to the corporate and private sectors.

Their warehouse is the engine room of the business, fast‑paced, hands‑on and central to delivering exceptional service to their customers and onsite teams.

My client is looking for an experienced Warehouse Operation Manager, who speaks Romanian and you must have operations experience within a warehouse environment

This is a hands‑on leadership role for someone who thrives in a busy environment, communicates with passion, and pushes for continuous improvement

The duties of the Warehouse Operation Manager include:

* Leading the daily running of the warehouse operation

* Driving safety, standards and team performance

* Managing a team of warehouse operatives

* Introduce safety measures, training and behaviours

* Carry out regular audits

* Been present on the shop floor and leading by example

* Continuously reviewing the warehouse processes and workflows

* Lead improvement projects

* Work closely with managers to understand their requirements

* Ensure equipment is prepared, maintained and dispatched to a high standard

* Support planning for peak periods

* Coach and support the warehouse team

* Oversee stock accuracy, count and stock conditions

* Maintain compliance documentation

* Ensure all systems are being updated by the warehouse team daily

* Monitor KPIs and report performances to Head of Operations

The ideal Warehouse Operations Manager will have:

* Experience within an operational role

* Spoken and written Romanian language

* Experience of managing the day to day of a warehouse environment

* Event, logistics or equipment hire experience would be an advantage but not essential

The salary for the Warehouse Operations Manager will be £40,000 per annum

The hours for the Warehouse Operations Manager will be 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday, the occasional weekend will be required as and when, but this is not a regular thing
