Warehouse Operations Manager

Our client is a distributor of specialist products for the home and heritage sector. They have retained us to source a Warehouse Operations Manager for their site in Powys (Old Radnor vicinity). This role is to strengthen their management team and to support the growth of the business.

This role will report to the Operations Director and will be responsible for:

* The leadership of the warehouse team and ensuring productivity is being hit

* To improve the layout of the facility

* To manage full 360 warehouse operations from goods in to despatch

* Health and safety management and adherence

* Logistics and 3rd party courier liaison and negotiation

* Improvement of warehouse operations and WMS

You will currently be a warehouse manager or operations manager within a product distribution company. You will have experience of full 360 warehouse operations and will be experienced in leading a multi disciplined team. You will be proven in process improvement and have experience in WMS/ERP systems. Perpetual inventory and/or experience in true cycle counting is key as well as the ability to set and maintain good standards and working practices. Our client is looking for a proactive individual who will originate their own improvement plans.

This role will offer an opportunity for progression to Operations Director level as well as a place on the SLT.

The role will also be rewarded with a salary of between £50,000 and £65,000
