Warehouse Operative

Come and join AJW Group, a global aircraft components company based in Slinfold, near Horsham, on a six-month fixed-term contract.

As a Warehouse Operator, you will be part of one of the largest and most important departments at AJW. You will support the efficient running of the Warehouse by quickly and correctly receiving, picking, and sending aircraft components to our customers around the world.  The hours for this are Monday-Friday 08:30 - 17:30.

About the role

• Ensure orders are correctly collected

• Ensure paperwork is collected, collated, and completed

• Move parts into the correct location and scan as required

• Effective communication, monitor emails, and answer phone calls

• Correct use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)

• Check product data (Quantity, Part Number, Batch/Serial)

• Correctly handle parts

• Check packaging conditions

• Follow established health and safety policies and procedures

• Maintaining and properly storing your Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

• Correctly and safely load the handling equipment

• Ideally, you'll have previous warehouse experience

• Can you confidently use MS Office? Your IT skills will allow you to easily use MS Excel and Outlook and we’ll give you the necessary training on our in-house systems.

• You’ll have a keen eye for detail, allowing you to correctly identify the required shipments. You’ll be able to work at a fast pace whilst ensuring that all work is correct.

• Must be able to engage in team continuous improvement activity to improve business profitability.
