We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating forklifts to move, load, and unload materials within the warehouse. This role requires a strong understanding of warehouse management systems and the ability to perform heavy lifting as needed.

Monday to Friday

6am - 2pm / 2pm - 10pm rotating (37 hours),

The successful Forklift operator will be responsible for operating a Forklift Truck to move, locate, relocate, load, stack and count products within the production and warehouse areas.

The role will involve

· Take ownership of health and safety for yourself and others at work. Ensure all health and safety procedures are followed and encourage safe working practices at all times.

· Drive the forklift, power pallet trucks and other machinery on all sites as directed.

· Check the forklift each day prior to commencement of work and complete all necessary forms in line with legal requirements and report any faults or defects to the Line Manager.

· Operate all machinery in a safe and efficient manner.

· Stack/de-stack/restack Lorries, trailer and or containers.

· Re-stack pallets.

· Sweep and clean the warehouse, yards or any other area as directed.

· Administration duties with relevance for vehicle loading/unloading and stock control in the form or writing/recording information, computer inputting, receiving of records e.g. delivery notes.

The successful forklift driver will have an up to date B1 Counterbalance Licence, have excellent communication skills together with experience of warehouse operations and paperwork.
