Warehouse Assistant

Our client, based just outside St Albans is looking for a Warehouse Assistant to join their already busy and successful team.

The role

• Picking and packing orders ready for shipment
• Unloading deliveries and stocking goods
• Product storage and labelling
• Meeting despatch schedules and deadlines
• Conduct regular stock checks and report discrepancies warehouse manager.
• Ensure non-conforming materials are reported to warehouse manager.
• Check each delivery for adherence to products ordered and quality.
• Recording any damaged/missing/faulty goods
• Adhere to the company’s recycling policies.
• Maintain a clean and tidy department.
• Opportunity to operate machinery.
• Communication with couriers, obtaining CMR’s and POC’s etc, from the drivers.
• Working as part of a diverse team
• Overtime opportunities are available.
• General admin duties

About you

• Forklift experience would be a bonus but not necessary.
• Previous warehouse experience required.
• Previous Admin Experience is desirable.
