Job Title: Warehouse/Yard Operative

Location: Ashford, Kent (You MUST be a driver with your own transport due to location)

Salary: £27,040 - £29,120

Hours: Monday to Friday 8.00am - 5.30pm

A well-established distributor with a strong reputation for supplying high-quality products to customers across the UK and Europe.

The Role:

Your responsibilities will include tasks such as unloading deliveries, inspection of products and packaging finished goods.

Key responsibilities within your new role would be to:

• Handball or use a forklift to unload incoming shipments and containers.
• Pick items as per customer orders.
• Pack products carefully to avoid damage during transport.
• Label and wrap orders ready for distribution.
• Palletise deliveries ready for courier collection.
• Communicate any damages, stock discrepancies and stock shortages.
• Store stock away correctly.
• Conduct quality checks on incoming products.
• Move stock around the warehouse to ensure a tidy working environment.
• Deliver products to customers using the company vehicle.

Experience and skills required for this position:

• You will need to be a driver due to location and have a clean licence.
• You will need to be above 25 due to vehicle insurance.
• You will have experience using a forklift (an in house or expired licence will be accepted)
• Previous warehouse experience
• The ability to prioritise your own workload
