Warehouse Operative

LV Logistics have an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse Operative to join the team! You will join us on a full time, permanent basis and in return will receive a competitive salary.

Hours: Typical shift patterns are Monday to Friday - 8am to 4.30pm

LV Logistics are a market leader in the shipping and transport industry, with 11 UK offices and many others in strategic locations across the globe.

As our Warehouse Operative, you will efficiently handle, store and rotate stock working within a team environment.

Key responsibilities of our Warehouse Operative:

• To ensure FLT’s are checked daily, recorded on relevant sheets and defects reported.
• Work to standard operating procedures in line with company policy.
• Deal with inbound vehicles following the correct company procedure
• Ensure safe handling, storage & repacking of all products in line with stock locations.
• High level of care and accuracy with pick operations.
• Load distribution vehicles in a safe, presentable manner and highlight all errors and damages prior to completion.
• Maintain high standards of site house-keeping
• Maintain high levels of Health and Safety awareness and report any areas of concern to Team Leader immediately.
• Assist with inventory counting when necessary.
• Put improvement suggestions forward where appropriate.
• Assist other team members as necessary.
• Support Warehouse Team Leader with all day to day tasks.
• To action any other elements to fulfil the operational needs of the business
• Any other reasonable duties as allocated by the Warehouse Team Leaders/Logistics Manager

• FLT Counter Balance
• H&S basic or higher desirable but not essential
• Excellent IT skills
