Warehouse Operative

Monday - Friday (some weekend included and opportunity for overtime)

£23,000-£26,000 per annum

As a Warehouse Operative, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient handling of goods in our warehouse. Your duties will include:

• Receiving, checking and sorting the full range of products that enter the warehouse
• Picking, packing and processing orders for dispatch
• Operating material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet trucks and scanners
• Maintaining a clean and tidy work area and following health and safety rules
• Working as part of a team to meet deadlines and targets

To be successful as a Warehouse Operative, you should have:

• The ability to lift and move heavy items
• A positive attitude and a willingness to learn new skills
• A flexible approach to work and the ability to work shifts
• Basic numeracy and literacy skills and IT proficiency
• Previous experience in a warehouse or similar role is desirable but not essential
