Job Title: Warehouse Operative
Location: Letchworth
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm with potential early starts from 6:00am as needed
Salary: £25 - 28.5K (DOE)

Our Letchworth based client are looking for a Warehouse Operative to join their team, on a Permanent basis.

This is an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated and detail-oriented individual to join a well-established business. Working within a small team, you will be responsible for maintaining the warehouse and ensuring efficient movement of items.


Main Responsibilities as a Warehouse Operative:

• Accurate picking of sales orders to meet targets.
• Utilisation of barcode scanning handheld devices for recording goods in, picking, and product movements.
• Supporting additional dispatch, goods in, and loading tasks.
• Wrapping, securing, and labelling finished goods.
• Loading vehicles with finished product.
• Conducting general daily checks and housekeeping duties.
• Assisting with stock takes as necessary.

Requirements:

• Valid counterbalance and reach forklift licence
• Warehouse experience
• Attention to detail
• Self-motivated and team player
• Category C licence (preferred)
