Warehouse Operative

Reed Business Support are delighted to be working with a fantastic building materials supplier in their search for a Warehouse Operative. This role is perfect for someone with strong warehouse experience and ideally with FLT experience.

Duties and responsibilities

• Prepare and complete orders for delivery or collection according to picks – sales orders (load, pack, wrap, label, ship)
• Prepare and complete orders for delivery or collection according to the production sheets/pick sheets (Produce, load, pack, wrap, label, ship)
• Checks loads/orders are correct before shipping
• Unload/receive and process warehouse stock products or for production (unload, label if required, place in correct storage area)
• Perform rolling stock takes on selected lines weekly and keep quality standards high for any audits.
• Stock rotation/pulling forward (make sure older stock is picked before new stock)

About you

• Previous warehouse experience
• Ideally FLT experience and license (Reach)
• Experience working in stock handling

Salary is £26,000

Working Hours: 8:30am - 5:00pm. Monday to Friday
