Job Description - Warehouse Operative

Warehouse Operative – Join a Leader in Freight Forwarding
Shift work - 12 hours - 4 on 4 off - days and nights
Base salary £31000 plus between £4000 and £5000 in shift pay.

Are you ready to take your warehouse career to the next level? Our client, a global leader in freight forwarding, is expanding and looking for motivated, reliable, and skilled Warehouse Operatives to join their dynamic team on a permanent basis.

Your Role
As a Warehouse Operative, you’ll be at the heart of operations, ensuring freight moves smoothly and safely:

Operate counterbalance forklift trucks to load and unload vehicles
Build and break down Unit Load Devices (ULDs) for air freight
Handle a mix of import and export cargo
Use your initiative and teamwork to maintain efficient operations

What We’re Looking For

A can-do attitude and strong work ethic
Counterbalance forklift license (Reach license is a bonus)
Experience with ULDs and air freight is highly desirable
Knowledge of aviation codes is a strong advantage
Resilience, reliability, and a passion for logistics
