Warehouse Operative

Our client is a well-established and growing manufacturing business based in Banbury. Due to increased demand and ongoing expansion, they are looking for a reliable and experienced Warehouse Operative to join their team on a temporary-to-permanent basis.

Main Responsibilities

• Operating a Counterbalance Forklift safely and efficiently
• Loading and unloading deliveries
• Picking, packing, and preparing stock for dispatch
• Moving goods around the warehouse and maintaining accurate records
• Assisting with stock checks and general warehouse organisation
• Ensuring health & safety procedures are followed at all times
• Supporting the wider warehouse team with manual handling tasks when required

Skills & Experience

• Valid Counterbalance Forklift licence (in-date and accredited)
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a warehouse, logistics, or similar environment
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual work, including lifting and moving stock
• Good communication skills and ability to follow clear instructions
• High attention to detail and accuracy in order processing
• Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
• Basic numeracy and literacy skills

Additional Information

• Hours: 8:30AM – 5PM, Monday – Friday
• Temporary to Permanent opportunity
• Weekly pay during the temporary period
