Warehouse Operative

The basics:

Job Title: Warehouse Operative
Role: Permanent
Environment: Manufacturing
Location: near Broxtowe - Nottingham
Shift:
Days: (Apply online only) Mon-Thurs; (Apply online only) Fri.
Afternoons: not regular and approx. working every 6-8 weeks:
Afternoon shift: (Apply online only) Mon-Thurs; (Apply online only) Fri.
Note:
In future, we anticipate the requirement to work night shifts - so anyone taking on the role must be prepared to do these: (Apply online only) Mon-Wed; (Apply online only) Thurs.
Pay:
Days: £12.82
Afternoons: £16.02
Nights would be paid at £17.05 should a requirement be needed.

Earnings: £25,000 minimum (working days only) with earnings of £30,000 and upwards achievable due to the afternoon shift premium.

Benefits: 33 days holiday, Bonus, Pension scheme (5% employer contribution), Death-in-service payment (4x salary)

Overview:

Working in first class manufacturing facilities for a company that have production sites across the world we now require additional Warehouse Operative. This is a permanent role employed directly to the company who can offer stability due to the products that they make.

The ideal candidate / Warehouse operative may have some of the following, however, please note these are only desirable and not essential as all applications will be looked at individually:

Previous experience working in a dispatch/warehouse/logistics environment within a manufacturing/production or engineering company.
Keen eye of detail and accuracy
Physically fit - working across the manufacturing facility to move parts around the site.
Experience with basic picking and packing tasks using pick lists or handheld scanners
Knowledge of safe manual handling practices

Nottingham, Derby, Long Eaton, Heanor, Ilkeston and surrounding areas.
