Warehouse Operative

About the role

We are hiring for Warehouse Operatives to join our Kerry team in Portbury, Bristol.

This role is on a full-time, permanent contract. Working hours are Monday to Friday, rotating 06:00-14:00, 14:00-22:00.

What will you do?

Your responsibilities as a Warehouse Operative will include:

• Maintaining high standards of work, accuracy and attention to detail.


• Picking, storing, moving materials in line with production schedules, stock rotation and site standards.


• Meeting quality, safety and efficiency targets.


• Following company procedures and reporting any issues.


• Supporting food safety standards by following hygiene, housekeeping and clean-as-you-go procedures.


• Completing all required paperwork and system updates.

What do you need to be successful?

• Previous experience in a warehouse, manufacturing or production environment would be beneficial; forklift and power pallet truck experience is desirable.


• Basic PC skills are required, with SAP knowledge or experience considered an advantage.


• Ability to work independently for long periods, stay organised under pressure and remain focused on quality and safety.


• Strong teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to read, understand and communicate clearly in English.


• Ability to complete physical requirements of the role, including manual handling and lifting up to 25kg where required.
