Warehouse Operative

Multi Trades Recruitment is looking for a Warehouse Operative / Materials Handler to begin work for a well-established company in the Sittingbourne area.

About the role:

* Working Hours – Monday - Friday, 07:00 - 16:30

* Pay Rate – £14.00 per hour PAYE

* Material receiving, picking, packing, stock control and returns processing

* Loading and unloading materials using a 1.5-ton forklift

* Reach truck operation up to 6m is desirable

* Checking, cleaning, testing and re-stocking returned materials

* Maintaining accurate delivery notes, stock records and material tracking logs

* Carrying out daily safety and equipment checks

* Some basic painting and reconditioning of materials may be required

* Physically capable of lifting approximately 8kg over a long working day

* Start: Tuesday 4th August 2026

* End: Sunday 23rd August 2026

About You:

* High work ethic & team player

* Punctual & reliable

* Minimum 2 years' warehouse or logistics experience

* Valid Forklift Truck licence is essential

* Reach Truck licence is desirable

* Full and clean UK driving licence

* Manual handling and health & safety training

* Able to work independently, as the role will involve working alone around 70% of the time

* Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling

* Previous experience with stock control, goods receiving and returns is preferred

* Painting certification/ticket is desirable
