Warehouse Operative

We are recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join our team!

This is a full-time position Monday – Friday working 37.5 hours a week on a fixed term basis based in our offices in Rochester.

Part- time hours will be considered for the right candidate

This position will require some heavy lifting, up to 25 – 30kg

Full duties for the role include but are not limited to : -

Accepting Goods in when delivered

*

Stock Control.

*

Completing Stock takes when required.

*

Operating forklift once licence has been attained.

*

Operating Saw once training completed and certified.

*

Cutting materials to order

*

Picking and packing materials to order

*

Overseeing general maintenance of warehouse, ensuring health and safety measures are maintained and adhered to.

Overseeing cleaning and maintenance of Saw and Forklift

*

Liaise with Customer service regarding stock issues.

*

Liaise with Customer service regarding material or delivery complaints.

Strong materials handling skills

Ability to perform heavy lifting

Willingness to learn and adapt to warehouse operations
